My wedding videos have a mix of styles: documentary and artistic.
The images in a video capture moments and stories, but above all, their essence, their energy, and their movement.
When creating a video of an event, it's important to capture the moment to record it. That's why I like to capture and record the movement, sound, and action, while also capturing the emotions created in that space.
My approach as a videographer and my sensitivity when portraying what I see are my way of bringing you closer to my visual universe.
If you were to look up the definition of documentary, you'd find this:
"A documentary is the expression of an aspect of reality, shown visually.
The organization and structure of images and sounds, according to the author's point of view, determines the type of documentary.
Some would define it as the "creative treatment of reality" or presenting "life as it is, life caught unawares."
This is how I make my wedding videos, like a documentary. Where you capture life as it happens, but bringing your artistic and creative side to this reality. Because life is like a movie.
