HI, I’M CYBELE.
I photograph weddings for couples with an eye for aesthetics, design, and all those little in-between moments that happen when no one is watching.
My work lives somewhere between documentary and editorial — honest, vibrant imagery with a thoughtful approach to light, colour, and composition. I blend digital and film photography to create memories that feel spontaneous, elegant, and timeless.
I’ve been incredibly lucky to be named one of the 20 Best Wedding Photographers in Spain by THE WED and WEZOREE, and to have my work featured and recognised by Vogue, The Wed, Lensel World, and BODAF Europe.
But accolades aside, I’m still completely obsessed with the same thing: creating images that feel honest, thoughtful, full of life, and unmistakably yours.

I’m Cybele, a wedding photographer based in Spain and working across Europe, wherever a good story takes me.
For over eight years, I’ve been photographing people — observing the way they love, the way they move, and everything that happens when no one is trying to make a photograph.
Before stepping behind the camera, I spent years in front of it. My background as an actress in theatre and film shaped the way I see: it taught me to notice gestures, light, movement, and to understand that the best stories rarely need much direction.
My work lives somewhere between documentary instinct and editorial sensibility. I step in when an image needs intention, and disappear when the moment is unfolding beautifully on its own.
But there’s one thing that hasn’t changed over the years: I love being involved. Getting to truly know the people in front of my camera and becoming part of their day in a way that feels close, sensitive, and human.
Because when you come back to these photographs years from now, I don’t want you to simply remember what everything looked like.
I want you to remember how it felt.
As one of my brides, who later became a friend, once told me:
“Through your photographs, we won’t just remember our wedding — we’ll remember you too. You left your mark, your essence, and a little piece of yourself on a day that means so much to us.”

Cinema, fashion and photography are my passion.
I grew up in a family where art was always present. My mother is an anthropologist, my father an architect; among my grandparents were ceramicists and a filmmaker, and my uncle is a painter.
I suppose growing up surrounded by so many different ways of seeing the world shaped something in me. From an early age, my parents taught me to look a little beyond the obvious.
And that gave me wings.
I studied acting and spent years working in theatre, television, and film, until eight years ago I discovered another way of telling stories through photography.
All of that still shapes the way I see today: people, light, movement, aesthetics, and especially everything that happens in between.
